A Man and His Bobcat

I think it was over 20 trees knocked down or dangerously uprooted by the storm at the community garden. But with gardeners armed with some serious tools, the hard work of cleaning up is already well underway.

Wow--a lot of trees. Thinking of you and all in NY/NJ affected by Sandy. Is the community garden at FB FIeld? I didn't realize that.

Yes. We are in Floyd Bennett. To be honest, even with the trees and one gazebo lost, I'd say the garden was ridiculously lucky compared to the surrounding areas. It is zone B here and not as prone to flooding.
