Searching for news on how area farmers are faring post-Irene, I came upon GrowNYC's blogpost about assisting Greenmarket Farmers effected by Hurricane Irene.

oh my god. 26 acres under water.
Happy you are well in vermont. 26 acres seems like so much to me, but I live in a place,where we measure real estate in square feet and I rent less than 300. Was hoping that all the trendiness of food and farms might carry over in the news coverage, but not so much. You do still have to seek out that information. Stay dry.
