Crepe-Myrtle (Lagerstroemia)

Small trees/shrubs for bark lovers. They are common in warmer zones like the southeast in the US. The first pic is from the Perennial border/lily pool area at BBG. Second two are near the lilacs and overlook. I've yet to get a picture of the mocha-colored one in front of 1000 Washington, which might be my favorite. They flower too.
