Sign of the time

Unlike the variegated Kousa Dogwood which is acting like spring is here, this Dogwood is showing signs of fall. The consensus seems to be that fall has a strong chance of being like this spring, hard and fast, which is too bad. I was looking forward to enjoying the fall at Brooklyn Botanic. I hope I don't blink and it's gone, leaving only great piles for us all to rake up.
